The jivacoustic blog site was taken down

Some of you will remember that jiva ran the Ashington Folk Club from 2004 through to 2007 and during this time we made many recordings and created a very detailed and extensive website for the club.

The club then continued under the stewardship of the Yeowarts and ultimately a new website was created by them and a link was provided from that website to the 'archive' of our Ashington Folk Club website.

Sadly Ashington Folk Club folded some years ago and the demise of that website also so the link was broken to look back at the 'archive' site.

For sometime I have been considering providing a link from the jiva website to the 'archived' Ashington Folk Club site so that that past performers can be reminded of their contribution to the club when it was run by jiva.

You can now take a look back at our time running the club but also history of the club from 1962... have a read of what was happening and take a look and listen to many of the performers who came to the club during our stewardship... enjoy!
