New PA gear
Having come to a halt on the guitar-buying front (with our Taylors, what else could we possibly desire?) we turned our attention to new PA equipment. Special thanks to Ripon City Music for 'sound' advice, friendly service and good prices - we bought speakers, monitors and cables/leads etc from them. The powered mixer and microphones came from Digital Village, another great place to do business.

Our performing 'rig' consists of:

  • Behringer PMH3000 powered mixer - 2 x 400 watts
  • 2 x Carlsbro Gamma 10/250 speakers
  • 1 x Carlsbro Alpha PM10 powered monitor (100 watts)
  • 1 x Carlsbro Alpha EM10 passive monitor (100 watts)
  • 2 x Sennheiser e845 Supercardioid vocal microphones
  • Purple guitar leads!

More than enough to handle the size of places we play.

Smoke generator? Dry ice? Wild light show? ... no, they're not in our current plans!
