New year - new look... not only do we have two wonderful new guitars, but we've finally decided to stand, rather than sit, while singing. Not only is it better for breathing and vocal projection, but now even those at the back can see us (and we can see you all much better too!).
The
new guitars are both Yamahas, both CPX models:
CPX8-12 (12-string) - Sounds Live, Newcastle
CPX15A (6-string) - Frailers, Runcorn (special thanks to Barbara and Dave Kennedy for finding it)Jimmy could bore for hours regarding the combination of that Yamaha warmth with a clarity of sound only matched by Taylors... but we'll spare you the detail. Hopefully, we'll get to play in your area before long, and you can hear for yourselves.
Val also has a new keyboard (Yamaha PSR1500 workstation), but it'll be a while before it finds its way into our live set.
