Another trip abroad to see Melanie. Just 4 months after the concert at Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, we had a holiday in the Netherlands and took in a couple of Melanie concerts. This time we went by ferry so we could take our guitars.

The first show was at the Kleine Komedie, a beautiful small old theatre in Amsterdam. Before the show we met up with other Melanie fans who had travelled from various parts of Europe. The concert was excellent - Melanie was in fine voice and Beau Jarred played as well as ever. After the show there was the usual CD signing and photograph opportunities - and they remembered us from the USA.

A few days later we saw them again at De Tambour, a splendid modern theatre/arts complex in Hoogeveen. Another great show, and more CDs and more chat and another photo to add to our collection.

Rumour has it, Melanie may be touring Australia in 2005 - so watch out Oz!
