Peter Meek got the evening underway with the classic 'Mr Bo-Jangles' and Ralph McTell's 'Nettle Wine'. He returned in the second half and sang the Tim Hardin song 'The Lady Came From Baltimore'.

Harmonica player Jim Slaughter played two tunes - 'Just A Song At Twilight' and 'Last Rose Of Summer'.

Geoff Pickard sang the Tom Paxton song 'The Last Thing On My Mind'  and then Tim Hardin's 'Reason To Believe'. He also ended the night with another Paxton song 'Dogs At Midnight' - a mining song about the deaths from black lung.

Unaccompanied singer
Diane Green sang two traditional songs, 'The Earl of March's Daughter' and 'The Water Is Wide'.

Good to see newcomer
Paul Allen at the club. He sang the Irish song 'Mountains of Mourne' and then a self-penned love song called 'Temporary Gravity'. We had time for two more from Paul in the second half and he sang two more of his own compositions - one called 'How Was Your Day? and the other as yet untitled.

sang two Marty Robbins songs this evening. The first was 'Big Iron' which he followed with 'Running Gun'.

We had the Jake Thackray song 'The Hole' and traditional 'He's Young But Daily Growin'  from Keith Jones
 in the first half. He returned later with Ralph McTell's 'Streets Of London' and Thackrays' 'On Again! On Again!'.

Derek Greenacre
played two tunes, first a self-penned pastiche classic piece called 'Handel's Forgery' and a piano blues tune 'Blues 1920's.' He also told us the amusing Bill Conroy story 'The New Claes Prop'.

Two self-penned songs from Jim Wigfield were 'Solihull' and 'Wild Food'. Where does he get his inspiration?

Three songs tonight from Pat Yeowart. She sang 'Way Over Yonder', the classic 'The Nearness Of You' and Janis Ian's 'Jesse'.
