Peter Murphy

Peter is fine singer who has been performing for many years. After a long absence he returned to the club in August 2004, and has been a regular visitor since then, including an extended Spotlight performance on 21 July 2005.

He has an excellent voice, claiming that he is not a guitarist and the guitar is merely there as background support. His intricate playing, in a variety of styles, suggests otherwise.

His repertoire includes unaccompanied, traditional, contemporary (some in traditional style) with occasional humour too! He has a wide variety of influences from Ewan MacColl to Graham Nash (of Hollies and Crosby Stills Nash & Young fame).
